Yours is not “as bad” as some articles I've been reading of late, yet your focus is still maintained on the negative (grief, anxiety, doom) and on the individual action which, by itself, will do little to alleviate the problem we confront. What is necessary is concerted group action, in force, immediately. Something that requires a sense of positivity, hope. Very little sense of positivity and hope is gained by stressing grief, anxiety and doom, regardless of their “realities” in our daily life. Once again, the IPCC report does lay out the potentials for what can be achieved for the future—perhaps not your future—of the planet. That’s what is most important. That’s what most people are missing because that’s what they are most NOT concerned about.

As usual.
