You know, I have a friend here who sings on and on, encomiums about how much he loves nature. And even while he does so, he also goes to great lengths talking about how much he does to destroy it. And he doesn’t see the difference. This, too, is human nature or "being just plain human." This, too, is why we have rules and why, perhaps, we even need more. What such rules might do? Who knows. Create more confusion over "liability" and more people who stand around and say "not my job" and "not my problem"? Who. Knows.

Meanwhile, most of what he does is going to kill his own grandchildren. And he doesn't even think about it. But he loves his Sundays and his flowers and his pretty green lawn. God bless him.
