Yes, I think you worry too much. You’ll worry less when you’re older (hopefully...if not it will definitely kill you). The only thing you really have to worry about in that regard I think is copyright, unless you are copying from another Medium source, then you must indicate when and where you are sourcing the material from (and it has to abide by Medium rules, naturally).

For example, when I repost a blog of mine from Goodreads, I do not have to indicate that it was posted on Goodreads (although I might) because they do not own the copyright on it, I do. They cannot make claims against it.

And if anyone wants to say something like, “But you wrote that five years ago!” all I have to say is, “So what?” I mean, who is going to say that?

On the other hand, if you have published in a copyrighted source you do have to at least make mention of it. In some instances you do have to get permission. Even if it carries your own copyright you should consider mentioning it. Because it is a copyright.
