When you mention our grandmothers, that’s when you hit the nail on the head—and that nail went directly through the heads of most of the commenters. Perhaps they know nothing of their grandmothers. Or grandfathers for that matter. Perhaps they know nothing of the society they themselves live in that sells sex to them night and day through the media they devour incessantly like food and air and water to the point that they know nothing else so that sex is the only glass through which they judge people today.

Sex they devour and which devours them to such an extreme that they cannot even see the rest of the world around them. Not the poverty, not the loneliness of others, not the war and death and destruction everywhere. Only the sex the media tells them is so necessary and vital to their small lives. So valuable and, of course, so expensive.
