We are learning, we are. But, look at it this way: you now have retirement ahead of you. It will be like perpetual WFH. Or even better! Think of the benefits!! I'm certain someone else is and figuring out how to reduce them... Oh, well. Maybe someone is learning about that, too.
Seriously, there is much more debate taking place with economists proving the efficacy of WFM, the cost-benefits to employers despite their concerns about loss of productivity. Serious employers are taking notice and, as they do, others will learn from them and fall into line. They won't be able to afford not to. The history of capitalism proves that over and over. Forward-thinking business succeed and the others fail.
